The realm of Eo once again leaves its fate in gamers' hands in the standalone expansion SpellForce 2: Faith in Destiny. Players take on the role of a mysterious Shaikan hero who seeks only to find the answers to his troubling dreams, but when his quest brings him to his ancestral home, he finds himself greeted by a frightened and isolated populous that has been hounded by demonic attackers. The new single-player campaign continues the series tradition of melding strategy and role-playing elements, with an enhanced skill tree that allows for individual character development, and new skills and spells that offer more tactical possibilities. Multiplayer fans can choose from ten different races, and each of the five factions, including the new "Nameless" demons, offers 12 different infantry, cavalry, and flying units.
