A unique RPG based on Steve Jackson Games board game "Car Wars." You are an average joe starting off in New York, and the object is to maximize money and maximize prestige, while doing story-based missions. Side quests are also available for pay, as well as being able to compete in the arena for more money and prestige.
Autoduel is a unique game. It's a mix between a role-playing game and a driving game. It is based on the board game Car Wars. You only need one person to play it on the PC, though. When you start playing Autoduel you create a driver. You can pick how many points you want for three skills: driving skill, mechanic, and marksmanship. Each skill will help you on your quest.
After you create a driver, you enter the post-apocalyptic world of Autoduel. You can then do whatever you want, whether it is making a car or fighting in the arena for cash and fame. Your driver can back up his life by creating a clone or protect himself by wearing amour. Even the most protected drivers can die though, either by fighting in the arena or by being destroyed by outlaws that plague the roads of Autoduel.
Most of your time playing Autoduel will be spent in your custom-built car. You can make your car anything you can dream of: a luxury car with a machine gun and heavy rockets or even a truck with a flamethrower and smokescreen equipped on the back. Whatever you choose, you can make your car better by buying weapons and ammo, amour plates, power plants, suspension and even tires. You can park your car in the garage for a fee and go buy another car.
Salvaging is something that makes Autoduel unique. After destroying an outlaw or arena fighter, you can get out of your car and salvage weapons and parts from his/her car. Salvaged parts can be sold at salvage stores located in most of the towns. If you haven't played Autoduel, you should download it now. I guarantee that it will be worth downloading. You will spend hours trying to figure out the ultimate goal of the game.
Now this is what i call a mixtures of games. Buy a car, build it from scratch and go race some races. Get some cannons and stuff and you ready to go. This is an awesome game. A mixture betweend Streetrod and Death Track!
