In Stacking, gamers take on the role of Charlie Blackmore, an extremely small Russian nesting doll who attempts to save his family from 1930s-era indentured servitude. Stacking features the character interaction and increasingly complex solutions of classic adventure puzzle titles like The Secret of Monkey Island, but instead of collecting and combining items, Charlie must jump inside his fellow matryoshka dolls to take advantage of their unique skills.
The catch is, Charlie can only jump in dolls one size smaller or larger than him, so players must hop in and out of multiple characters in order to solve the more complex puzzles. Each challenge offers multiple solutions and a readily available hint system ensures that gamers won't be stuck for too long. Players can also spend time exploring the game world taking on random challenges, collecting dolls, or using some of the more annoying special skills to participate in comical hi-jinks.
