Theatre of War 2: Africa 1943 Download (2009 Strategy Game)

A sequel to the European-themed Theatre of War, Theatre of War 2: Africa 1943 takes the 3D real-time strategy south for 15 missions designed to re-create the engagements that took place after the famous WWII battle at Al 'Alamayn. Three separate campaigns let gamers command German general Erwin Rommel's Afrika Korps, Bernard Law Montgomery's British soldiers, and Dwight D. Eisenhower's U.S. troops. Newly designed soldier models, sound effects, and animations greet players as they manage more than 50 different vehicle types, including anti-aircraft vehicles and stationary mounts. Other new features include more than 30 vehicle types, house-to-house urban combat, hand-to-hand fighting, and atmospheric flourishes such as trenches, roadblocks, barbed wire, and smoke screens. Multiplayer fans can take on friends via LAN or Internet connection, and creative gamers can use the built-in Mission Editor to create their own unique scenarios.
