Paradox Interactive and Battlegoat Studios send strategy gamers back to relive one of the most geopolitically tumultuous periods of the 20th century in Supreme Ruler: Cold War. In the Campaign mode, players choose to represent the United States or the Soviet Union as they navigate their way through the Korean War, the formation of NATO, and an escalating arms race. Gamers control the diplomacy, trade, and clandestine services of their country in an attempt to gain influence in the world, and military solutions are always an option.
Players can research new weapons and technology, delegate responsibilities, or take direct control as they deploy their armies using real-time strategies and tactics. The Sandbox mode lets gamers take control of any Post-WWII nation, while multiplayer fans can join up to 15 friends for skirmishes via LAN or Internet connection.
