Players attempt to create the most efficient and profitable public transportation systems possible as they take control of all forms of transit in Amsterdam, Berlin, Helsinki, and Vienna in Cities in Motion. A full campaign, 12 different scenarios covering the 100-year span between 1920 and 2020, and a sandbox mode all let gamers take charge of more than 30 types of transportation, including buses, trams, subways, helicopters, and water cabs.
As each city grows, players must adjust to the quickly changing economic trends, banking rates, and contracting deals, all while ensuring that the available transportation runs on time and meets the needs of the game's seven different social groups. Cities in Motion offers 3D graphics with more than 100 unique buildings, three difficulty levels, and a map editor so creative gamers can design their own cities.
