Dime City, a fictitious American town in the last 30 years of the last century, is the scene of this business simulation in the gangster environment. With one of 4 companies you try to reach your aims - being governor and godfather of Dime City. With (bank-)raids, blackmails or prostitution you raise your money. With the money you can buy cars and people for your crime-activities, stocks or immovables. Worth mentioning are the sudden attacks to your competitors. These are little top-down action games.
This follow-up of sorts to Mad TV (designed by the same designer) is based on the same engine and look, but unfortunately it lacks the charm and wit that make Mad TV an underground classic. This time instead of a hapless TV reporter in love, you are a gangster wannabe in love who must amass fame and fortune by nefarious means to achieve his heart's desire. Recruit thugs, plan shootouts, and more in this unique game that doesn't live up to Mad TV, but comes close at times.
