You play a worm that has to get to the bell at the top of the screen without hitting blocks that slide down at you ala Donkey Kong-style.
Willy Worm is one of the oldest arcade games I know. This game was programmed in 1985, graphics is ASCII and the sound is genuine PC speaker beeping. But thats nothing that ruins the gameplay. In fact it's quite fun jumping and crawling around using the cursor keys and the space bar.
To win the game you simply need to get to the bell and ring it. If you are looking for a highscore, be sure to collect the presents on the screen. It is very helpful to make use of the springs as they help you jump quite high.
All I can say in conclusion is that you should definitely play the game yourself.
